Our Roles

The Leat Close Management Association works on behalf of the landowner to manage the Leat Close Estate. It is made up of a group of volunteers who are also residents, and they dedicate their time to ensure the Close is managed in the best way possible but also in the most economical way. We preserve the ideals of the residents and aim to make Leat Close a happy place to live. The annual management fee pays for the up keep of the grounds, the buildings insurance and on going external maintenance of the properties subject to the leaseholders agreement set out by the landowner. Our aim is to manage the estate as best we can, but importantly as cost effectively as possible.

Committee Meetings

The LCMA committee meet every 3 months to discuss on going upkeep and issues, and also to tackle any new matters arising. The meetings are minuted and the tasks are actioned to members of the committee to either sort out themselves or to source a contractor to perform the task. If you would be interested in joining the committee (as a director or an advisory role) and volunteering some of your time to help improve Leat Close then we would be definitely like to hear from you.
