We believe that making it easier for residents to dry their washing outdoors will help the environment and save on electricity and your carbon footprint. LCMA has agreed that the use of rotary washing lines is acceptable with the following conditions:
- We have to install the hole with a concrete base for you in a location we deem to be suitable and that doesn’t have a high impact on other residents. The washing line holes belong to the LCMA and are for shared communal use.
- You have to supply your own rotary washing line and are responsible for it.
- When the washing line is not in use you must collapse it and covered it with a washing line hood or remove it.
- Wall mounted washing lines are not permitted and will be removed.
- You must not install your own rotary washing line as you will damage the communal grounds and will be liable for any costs as a result.
